Is he talking about a MK3 or one of the other ones? I'm a fan of them all, but the MK3s are probably the best. Alot of people complain about them being underpowered, but to me it was just a return to their roots. As the MK2 got faster, it also got heavier. The MK3 weighs about the same as an original NA AW11. Put some better springs and shocks on it and swap in a 2ZZ, and you've got yourself a budget Elise.

I refuse to believe anyone who says they are underpowered. It has more power to weight than the MR2 Supercharged.

Yeah, it's totally not underpowered. It's not "fast" by modern standards in a straight line, but I don't really care about that. These are the same people who can't get over the BRZs power. They're missing the point.

Since it's an older car and there are so many 2zz ones around if people have an issue with it's speed they can pick up one of those anyways i suppose. That car would be legitimately fast.

MK3. We saw one for sale a while ago that he wanted. I kinda want him to look for a MK2 Turbo but he might die in it.
